In order to prevent forged pharmaceutical products from entering in the market and make sure the medicine traceable, a new eyeTrace Track and Trace image processing system was developed and used for Pharmaceutical tube packaging. 

It is a priority to prevent forged products in the pharmaceutical industry, because the medicine could course severe effect to the consumers. But many forged medicine could not be identified by watching their packaging. Even we bought the medicine from the regular pharmacies, which passed the safety inspection, additional safety characteristics are unavoidable.

The EU has passed a resolution (2011/62/EU) in 2011. This resolution said that the Pharmaceutical tube packaging of prescription drugs must be printed with serial number. EyeTrace Track and Trace would be a safe solution avoiding the forged medicine.
