They are called the “cursor” or the “eye mark”.

No matter customers ask for plastic squeeze tube with tail sealed or not, eye mark is nessecery. They are used for induction and positioning.

The usual specifications for eye mark are 2 * 6mm, 2 * 8mm, 3 * 8mm.

Since the eye mark is at the end of cosmetics tube, it is not recommended to cover other content. Otherwise the sensor cannot find the end point accurately; the position of the tail will be easily offset. Of course, the surest way is to test before production.
