The challenge of recylable material to cosmetic tubes
2020-01-08 09:00:29
Today I read the article of Boots will cut 149tons of plastic from gift range for this Christmas season. And they’ll stop use bubble wrap, parcel tape and plastic delivery bags, in order to stop using 136tons of plastic annually.
This is really a great news! Whenever I saw such news, I always feel excited.
As I have wrote an article early this year about how we can make our effort to protect the environment, see this link:

After checked, we might have saved 1000PCS polybags in our family per year with such activity. Wish more people can join us!
However, nowadays, we are busy on working, so shop online is really popular. So do I, sometimes we planned to purchase things from supermarkets or shopping malls, however we have to buy online due to short of time finally. So we’ve got a lot of cartons at home, for some cartons you will find a lot of vibration-proof materials. They are too rich in options. Such as this picture, you can see there are totally 6kinds which are made from plastic material.
In fact, this is also the topic bothering me this year. According to the focus on environmental protection, we got more questions from customers to ask for eco-friendly material tubes. However, currently there is no biodegradable material we can use in our factory. Even the PCR, Green PE as we’ve known, they are in fact only can include around 30% on the inner or outer layer of PE. So it can save some percentage of PE, but still neither eco-friendly, nor biodegradable.
Really hope to find the innovation on material in the tube industry. We wish to have it and produce more products to save the environment where we live.
If anyone has ideas about such material, pls feel free to tell us. Thanks a lot in advance.
