User ground is getting younger

While with the booming of Internet celebrity (Wanghong) economy in China, the consumption ability of students are getting stronger which takes up 18%. This should not be underestimated, since more of them are willing to invest on appearance with strong skincare sense.

 

User popularization

It seems to us that premium cosmetics should be consumed by the high income group. Now it is not! Users are from different levels, and those with income of RMB8,000(around USD1150) monthly take up the highest proportion.

How they shop?

Actually, girls can shop anywhere in anytime! Just like you can’t guess when a girl may be mad at you, you can’t guess when they will do shopping. In fact, some shipping are done on the spur of the moment~

There are multiple channel to learn cosmetic product information, 50% of them seem info from Wechat(an social app like Facebook in China). Brand’s official account also help consumer to know them better.

According to the research, lipstick is a necessary regardless of segment. Post-00s pay more attention on eyes&lips care, while post 60s are more passionate on foundation products. In the meantime, products from Europe and America are more popular by all age consumers. Based on the reference survey, female are loyal to their skincare products which they like to try new stuff for makeup products.
