Dear valued clients, 

In 2016, there are only 1month of difference between the solar calendar and lunar calendar , thus, on 15 Sept.,2016, the Chinese traditional lunar festival, Mid-Autumn Festival is coming.

All Chinese around the world won’t forget this day, and will send moon cakes as gifts to each other, try to find a place to watch the bright and round moon in the night with family members or friends.

Last year, we have shared the famous poem “In the Quiet Night”. Now let’s share some traditional activities to be held in China during this time.

1. Make lanterns and light up in the night under moon

We’ll gather materials and make various of lanterns. They’ll be lighted in the night of that day.

We’ll drink tea, eat moon cake, chat, and watch the moon in the night when it is rising on the sky.

4. Watch the tide

It’s the best time to watch the tide at Mid-Autumn Day. Mostly it happens in Zhejiang province, at Qiantang River. But it’s quite famous activity every year.

There are more activies in different areas because the territory of China is too big, and there are so many different nations and population here.
