Two ways to be eco-friendly are mainly discussed, one is to reuse the resource, and another one is to use sustainable material to replace the unsustainable one.

For example, the bio diesel (below is the intro. from wiki). It seems great that we can use less tradition fuel made from petroleum fuel oil.

But later on we found some problems which may increase the carbon emission. The palm oil is the main material for chocolate, ice cream and also the bio diesel. When the demand of bio diesel increased and so the demand of palm oil, which encourage farmers to plant more palm. Now people are destroying the rain forest for more palms.
Here is the problem, the rain forest absorb CO2, acting like the carbon sink. And many endangered species are living on it. When they destroyed the rain forest, they burned trees and polluted the nearby area and huge amount of CO2 was getting into the atmosphere. Moreover, the carbon absorbed by the rain forest before will release to the air when the ‘sink’ was broken.

That makes me think of bamboo packaging which is popular during the packaging industry. Now that people concern more about eco-friendly and they want more eco-friendly products. Bamboo packaging seems to a good choice because it’s natural and brings consumers a fresh feeling. And moreover, the bamboo group up fast and can supply the packaging products in time.

Auber is asked about bamboo caps for squeeze tubes 2 years ago, and we were concentrated to develop the more eco-friendly products and one year before, we opened a whole series of molds for different sizes of bamboo caps. We can also customize them in any colors we want, and also carve our logo on them with a laser printer.

Like all the plants, bamboo can strong the soil, balance the soil and water and firm the ground. And it can also absorb the CO2 and clean the groundwater. No doubt it’s really green for making packaging since it can decompose easier by the nature, and reduce the plastic used among packaging. From this aspect, we can be positive for using the bamboo in packaging production, but the nature has its rhythm for rebirth and decomposition, we should control ourselves in case we over develop the resource and break the balance.
