This is a labeling tube of cosmetic pakaging.

As people think tube packaging is more fashionable and boxes are too common, companies tend to use a tube as cosmetic packaging instead of boxes to pack skincare and oral products.Meanwhile, the printed contents make it more effective to express the brand information of why a consumer should have this product.

Since 2012, an injection-molded tube has been researched and developed. Different from the original plastic tubes, it produce in-mold label first.

The in-mold label is firstly made in-house with extruded cast polypropylene (CPP) , and then printed on integrated printing operations with artwork software. It has in-house plate making, and then going through the printing press, such as flexo, offset, silkscreen, cold foil on line. Afterwards cut with a high precision rotary cutter.

After the in-mold label is finished, it will be inserted into the injection mold with high precision robotics on various production lines. The plastic tube is injection molded in one piece and will be processed automatically onto the same production line for foil seal, fixing caps, and then packaging.

Compared with normal cosmetic packaging, what stand out most about injection-molded tubes are better printing and appearance, shortened lead time and high sustainability.
